Handwrytten’s 2024 Holiday Deadlines: Plan Ahead, Stay Ahead!

The holiday season is fast approaching, and we know how important it is to stay ahead of the game—especially when it comes to sending heartfelt notes and gifts that make a lasting impact. At Handwrytten, we’re here to help you spread joy with our personalized, handwritten cards, but you’ll want to mark your calendar for the important deadlines ahead!

Here’s everything you need to know about our 2024 holiday deadlines:

Thanksgiving – November 11th

It’s time to send your thanks! Whether it’s a thank-you note for a business partner or a heartfelt message for a friend, Thanksgiving is the perfect time to show gratitude. Be sure to place your orders by November 11th to guarantee delivery before the holiday.

Hanukkah – November 22nd

Hanukkah arrives early this year, and we’re ready to help you share the light with your loved ones. If you want to send personalized cards in time for the Festival of Lights, be sure to place your order by November 22nd. We’ll handle the rest, so you can focus on what matters most!

Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s – December 2nd

The most wonderful time of the year (and a busy one!) calls for some early planning. Whether you’re sending festive wishes for Christmas, celebrating Kwanzaa, or ringing in the New Year, make sure to get your orders in by December 2nd. That way, your thoughtful cards will reach their destination just in time for the celebrations.

USPS Holiday Shipping Deadlines

To help you plan even better, we’ve got the United States Postal Service (USPS) recommended mailing and shipping deadlines for the 2024 holiday season:

  • USPS Ground Advantage: December 18
  • First-Class Mail: December 18
  • Priority Mail: December 19
  • Priority Mail Express: December 21

These dates are for expected delivery before December 25th, but please note that actual delivery dates may vary. Factors like the origin and destination, the Post Office’s acceptance date and time, and other conditions can all affect delivery. To see the full list of USPS recommended deadlines for the 2024 holiday season, visit USPS Holiday Shipping Dates.

USPS urges customers to plan ahead and ship early during this holiday season. The earlier you send, the better—don’t delay, mail and ship today!

Handwrytten’s Shipping Tip

To ensure your cards arrive on time, we recommend allowing 8-15 days for domestic mail and 15-30 days for international mail to reach its destination. Shipping times may vary based on location, so planning ahead is key. For the smoothest holiday experience, place your order early, and we’ll make sure your handwritten cards are ready to go!

Keep in Mind: External Service Disruptions

While we strive to get your cards out in time for the holidays, please remember that postal facility service disruptions caused by weather-related events, natural disasters, special events, or other changes impacting service may affect delivery times. Always plan for the unexpected and be sure to place your orders early to give your cards the best chance of arriving on time!
